Death Valley. The name conjures lethal visions of cruel heat and barren wasteland. This is one of the Hottest, driest and lowest places on the planet. A place of extremes, Death Valley is the home of the lowest point in the Western hemisphere at 282 feet below sea level at Badwater. It is also one of the driest places, with an average rainfall of only .1.96 inches per year! But this newest member of America 's National Park System is filled with magical vistas, dream inspired sand dunes, and majestic canyons that welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Yes, winter, spring and fall are the best times to visit the Park, but summer can be an extraordinary experience as well. Just remember to have your car's air conditioning and other critical components checked before you go. 

Death Valley boasts historical Scotty's Castle, Ubhebe Crater, Eureka Dunes and The Racetrack, Artist's Drive, Badwater, Zabriskie Point, Dante's View, Titus Canyon , Father Crowley Vista and so much more! You will also find several campgrounds to choose from, including year round camping at several. and world-class lodging, golf and dining at the Furnace Creek Resort and Ranch.
